Fisherman's Cove Hideaway

This spacious and private 4 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom Norris Lake house is located off Exit 122, 10 minutes from I-75 in a private cove between Sequoyah and Stardust Marina. Situated on 3 acres of beautiful wooded land, this home is quiet and made for family gatherings. Our private dock is located 100 feet down a gradual path (no stairs). It is in a private cove away from boat traffic and perfect for swimming and fishing. Its 3 separate decks and a firepit make the outdoors complete for enjoying nature and company. Equipped to sleep 16 comfortably in beds, it is like home away from home.

The large kitchen and two dining room tables allow numerous to gather comfortably for meals. All the necessary amenities are present to include Direct TV, DVD, VCR, Air Conditioning, Phone, 2 Coffee Makers, Dishwasher, Full Kitchen, Ice Maker, Microwave, 2 Ovens, Refrigerator, Electric Stove, 2 wood burning fireplaces, and a gas grill. Also included are kitchenware, utensils and any linens needed for all visitors. The spacious game room is furnished with a pool table, ping-pong table, dart board, and foosball table. The laundry room is located on the first floor. The Great Room has 3 couches made for resting after long days on the lake. The Master Bedroom on the main floor has a king size bed. There are 2 Queen Beds in the Bedroom off the Recreation Room. Upstairs, one bedroom has a full and a queen size bed, while the other has a full size and two twin bunk-beds. Pull out couches and cots complete comfortable sleeping arrangements for many.

Norris Lake offers waterskiing, swimming, jet skiing, fishing, and boating. Boat and jet ski rentals are available at nearby marinas.

Detailed Lake House Info:

The house sits on over three acres and is very private. The entire lot is wooded with old growth forest. It has 500 feet of lake frontage in the summer months and sits on year round water. The property has a private floating dock that is accessible by a short walk down a path to the lake.

The house is three floors and has four large bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. The second floor has two bedrooms that share a jack-and-jill bathroom (each has its own sink and toilet and share a shower). One bedroom has a full size bed and a bunk bed set. The other bedroom upstairs has a full and a queen size bed. The master bedroom is on the main floor with a king-sized bed and a private bathroom. The basement has a large bedroom with two queen-sized beds. A full bath is just outside the door. There is a mattress to make another single bed in the closet of the left upstairs bedroom. There is a pull-out couch in the basement. There are an additional four couches. The house sleeps 17 in beds including the pull-out couch and mattress and 21 off the floor including the couches. Extra linens and towels are in the closets of the master bedroom. On the main floor is a large living room/dining area/kitchen. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. Smoking is not allowed inside the house. Pets are welcome.

The basement is full of entertainment. The cabinets are full of board games and books. Poker chips and cards are available. There is a ping-pong table, pool table, foosball table, and dart board. All the supplies for the games are downstairs. There are also corn hole boards and bags to play with outside on the new deck.

The property has a fire pit. There is a stack of fire wood most of the time. We ask that you do not cut down any trees. The house has a large covered attached deck. There are also two more large decks for entertaining. One overlooks the lake; the other is at the waters edge. There is a canoe on the dock at all times. The key to unlock it is located in the drawer below the phone in the living room. Please lock it back up when you are done.

Other items in the house that you are more than welcome to use include life jackets in the basement closets, satellite television, DVD, VCR, and washer and dryer.

There is usually toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, dish soap, dishwasher soap, and laundry detergent at the house. We restock supplies when we go down, so occasionally a few of these things may run low.
